These Terms govern your use of CaseTrends at casetrends.app. By using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
What CaseTrends is (and is not)
CaseTrends is an informational tool that reads public USCIS F2A discussions and the official Department of State Visa Bulletin to surface community trends and visa availability context. We are:
- Not USCIS, the Department of State, Reddit, or any government agency. We are not affiliated with them.
- Not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using CaseTrends.
- Not an official case tracker. We have no access to your USCIS file.
Nothing on CaseTrends should be relied on to make legal or immigration decisions. Always consult a qualified immigration attorney for guidance specific to your situation.
Accuracy and limitations
CaseTrends uses AI to extract structured fields from public posts and to summarize community patterns. AI outputs can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Visa Bulletin snapshots may lag the Department of State by up to a few days while we validate new releases. Use the site as one input among many, not the final word.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-export content from CaseTrends in a way that exceeds normal interactive use.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract our AI prompts, datasets, or internal state.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent case information, including fabricated receipt numbers.
- Use CaseTrends to impersonate another person or to submit content you do not have the right to submit.
- Attempt to defeat rate limits, authentication, row-level security, or any other protective control.
- Use CaseTrends in any way that violates applicable law, including export controls and sanctions.
Accounts and saved cases
If you create an account to save cases, you are responsible for the security of your credentials and for the content you submit. You can delete saved cases at any time from your account dashboard, and you can request full account deletion through the contact form.
Content ownership and Reddit attribution
Posts sourced from Reddit remain owned by their authors and are governed by Reddit's User Agreement. CaseTrends displays this content with attribution and a link back to the original thread, and purges it within 48 hours of upstream deletion. If you are the author of a Reddit post and want it removed from CaseTrends, use our content removal form.
Everything else on the site — the product, the analysis engine, the written copy, the layout — is owned by CaseTrends or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute it without permission.
Feedback
If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant CaseTrends a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the product, without obligation to you.
No warranty
CaseTrends is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CaseTrends and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the site. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
You are solely responsible for your immigration decisions. We are not liable for any outcome related to a USCIS filing, a consular appointment, or any other government process.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold CaseTrends harmless from any claim arising out of content you submit, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Changes to the service and these Terms
We may change or discontinue any part of CaseTrends at any time. We may update these Terms and will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do. If the change is material, we will call it out on the home page for at least 14 days.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these Terms, abuse the service, or pose a risk to other users or to CaseTrends. You can stop using the service at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the CaseTrends operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in that jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
